We are proud to be a private school because it allows us to have small class sizes which enables us to give more individualized attention to our students and helps us maintain a family like atmosphere.
Our instructors and administrators are a diverse group of educators who strive for student success. Our faculty consists of Licensed Massage Therapists, Licensed Massage Instructors, a Neuromuscular Therapist, a former Physical Therapy Assistant, a certified CPR Instructor, and a Chiropractor
We offer a flexible class schedule with multiple start dates. New classes start approximately every 2 to 6 weeks. You have your choice of Day or Evening class, which runs: Monday - Thursday: 10am - 2pm or 6pm - 10pm Fridays: (NMT Program Only) (Ask the Director for Class Times) For students who wish to expedite their graduation date, speak with the Director to see if the Accelerated Program (taking both Day and Evening classes) is right for you!We designed our programs to provide you with high specialized training and a world-class education. Our curriculum utilizes a variety of classroom activities and assessments for all learning styles. With over 30 years of combined experience in the classroom and on the table, our instructors teach our lessons clearly and thoroughly. Even more importantly, they help you understand how to utilize that information in your practice. Each instructor has their own style and brings a fun and challenging experience to the classroom. We are licensed and approved by Texas Department of Licensing & Registration.Once you join the Massage Institute of North Texas, you will always be our student for life! As a graduate of our program, you are always welcome to return and repeat any course you have already taken for FREE! We want to help you keep your knowledge and skills up to date to continue to achieve your full potential. TDLR requires 12-hours of continuing education every 2 years to renew your massage license. We offer fun, affordable, hands-on classes throughout the year to meet these requirements.Our massage school offers an onsite professional massage clinic. This allows our interns to work in a safe and supportive, real-world environment to gain the necessary skills for their future as Licensed Massage Therapists. Other benefits include working along side other Licensed Massage Therapists and Massage Instructors massaging in the clinic.We offer in-house tuition financing with no-interest. We also work with the Veteran Administration and the Texas Workforce Commission.
