item imageLeslie SmithOperations Director, Licensed Massage Instructor, & Licensed Massage Therapist

Leslie’s interest and love of massage began in 1999 when she and her business partner opened a day spa in Southlake, Texas. After hearing about the amazing benefits of massage from her clients, she decided to start receiving massage services to cope with her chronic pain from Fibromyalgia. The healing and restorative effect massage had on her pain management led her to pursue massage training to perfect her own natural massage ability. Through her massage education and practice, Leslie became in tune with body awareness and recognized that massage therapy is a necessary part of injury prevention and recovery.

Leslie attended the Institute of Bodywork Studies and graduated in 2006. She is currently a member of the Association of Bodywork & Massage Professionals and is the Operations Director of Massage Institute of North Texas. Highlights of her bodywork training include Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Sports and Injury, Cupping, and Stretching/Range of Motion, along with other various modalities. Leslie can assist in relieving the effects of stress, chronic pain, headaches, repetitive motion syndromes, tendonitis, grief, and depression and gives a great relaxation massage. Her education (along with having the opportunity to work at the school) has enhanced her training. Leslie appreciates the importance of nurturing ourselves to sustain a balanced, overall sense of well-being and feels blessed to be a part of the process. Leslie is extremely passionate about her work and tailors each session to her clients’ individual needs. Your session with Leslie will be dedicated to meeting your goals.
